Why don't you use many photographs on your site?
Our research has convinced us that visitors to our web site seek information and are not influenced or impressed by the gratuitious use of unnecessary images and novelties that seem to be so widespread these days.
We also know that many of our clients (like us!) are frustrated by the long download times that these complex web sites require. Accordingly, we make sure that the information contained in our pages is concise, accurate and quickly available. We are aware that not everyone has broadband internet access.
However, we know that some visitors to our web site are students or schoolchildren involved in projects about Iceland. For them (or indeed anyone else who wishes to look at pictures of Iceland) there's a slide show of photos which you can see here. These images were taken with an ordinary point-and-shoot camera and illustrate what can be achieved by amateur photographers on our trips. Commercial users or libraries should contact us directly to learn more about the wide range of Icelandic images we can offer.
Aside from personal use we ask you not to use the images and drawings in this website without our permission. You can find out more about the artist who did the illustrations here.
Photographers
We run trips, workshops and courses for photographers. Iceland's dramatic landscape provides a great backdrop for some memorable images and we can help you achieve some excellent results. You can work on your own or receive guidance from a professional. Contact us for more details.
